Schwarzdorn Production wurde im Jahre 1994 gegründet.
In den ersten Jahren trat das Label mit dem Schwerpunkt Black-, Death-, Doom-, Pagan- und Viking-Metal unter diversen anderen Namen auf.

www.schwarzdorn.de2002 wurde ein Vertriebsvertrag mit dem twilight-Vertrieb GbR abgeschlossen.
Im Jahre 2010 wechselte Schwarzdorn Production den Vertriebspartner und fand diesen in Soulfood Music Distribution GmbH. Schwarzdorn Production ist ein junges und sehr engagiertes Label das neben der eigenen Produktionen auch einen Online-Shop am laufen hat.
