Bis heute sind viele DGS-Gebärden in ISL zu finden.
Das Projekt hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, zwei bestimmte nicht-manuelle Markierungen (Augenbrauenbewegung und ?Squinting?) in den jeweiligen Gebärdensprachen zu untersuchen.
Wichtig sind dabei die Verwendungen der nicht-manuellen Mittel in unterschiedlichen Altersgruppen, um Aspekte des Sprachwandels zu erforschen.

The objective of this particular project is the comparative study of two specific non-manual markers (eye-brow-movement and squinting) in ISL and DGS.
We furthermore put emphasis on the usage of non-manual markers across different age groups and thereby examining aspects of language change.
