Bereits die Geschwister Anneler haben es in ihrer 1917 erschienenen Monographie als charakteristisches Haus des Tales aus dem 16. Jahrhundert dargestellt.
Die Jahrzahl 1568 findet sich im Jochbalken der Stubendecke eingraviert und – zu unserer Überraschung – auch an einer versteckten Stelle des Firstbalkens.
Alles Holz der Hauptkonstruktion ist dem Fälljahr 1567 zuzuordnen.

The date 1568 is carved into the yoke beam of the parlour ceiling and, much to our surprise, also into the ridge beam in a hidden place.
All the timber in the main structure was felled in 1567.
