Im Frühjahr 1923 verausgabte die palästinensische Postverwaltung ( Department of Posts and Telegraphs, später P.T.T.P. ) eine erste Serie von Portomarken.
Diese diente zum Zweck der Verrechnung folgender Gebühren:
