Mit dem neuen Jahrtausend, jedoch wurden die Dinge ändern sich, man denke nur an, dass 2001 wegen der Vakuum der Nachfrage und der Rückgang des Dollars gegenüber dem Euro, die Situation der Textil-Prato hat, erlebte eine dramatische Zusammenbruch.
