Peter Rimmele stellte in seinem Vortrag allgemein das Modell und die Geschichte der sozialen Marktwirtschaft und die Organisation der deutschen Wirtschaft, sowie die regulierende und sozial absichernde Rolle des deutschen Staates vor.
Um die Möglichkeiten libanesischer Ingenieure in der deutschen Wirtschaft und in den Rahmenbedingungen der sozialen Marktwirtschaft darzulegen, präsentierte Daniel Sander den Wirtschaftsstandort Baden-Württemberg und betonte den Mangel an Ingenieuren in Deutschland und deren Unentbehrlichkeit für die deutsche Wirtschaft.
Elias Assouad unterstrich in seinem Vortrag die Tatsache, dass ein größerer wirtschaftlicher Dialog und Austausch zwischen Deutschland und dem Libanon von großem Vorteil für beide Länder sei, nicht nur durch eine mögliche Anstellung von libanesischen Ingenieuren in Deutschland, sondern auch durch den Austausch von Know-How und die Anwerbung von deutschen Investitionen im Libanon.

In order to elucidate more concretely the opportunities of Lebanese engineers in the German economy and the framework of social market economy.Daniel Sander subsequently presented the economic and business opportunities of Baden-Württemberg and highlighted in particular the shortage of engineers in Germany in spite of their essential role in the German economy.
Elias Assouad emphasised the fact that greater economic dialogue and exchange between Germany and Lebanon would be beneficial for both countries not only in regard to Lebanese engineers working in Germany but also through the exchange of know-how and the promotion of German investments in Lebanon.
