Funktionalanalysis ist die Analysis auf endlich- und unendlichdimensionalen Vektorräumen ( Banachräumen, Hilberträumen, topologischen Vektorräumen ) und die Analysis der linearen und nichtlinearen Operatoren zwischen diesen Räumen.
Mein spezielles Forschungsinteresse gilt der Theorie der linearen und nichtlinearen Evolutionsgleichungen auf Banachräumen, den zugehörigen Operatorhalbgruppen und dem qualitativen Verhalten von Evolutionsgleichungen ( Langzeitverhalten, Regularität, Approximation ).

Functional analysis is the analysis on finite- and infinite-dimensional vector spaces ( Banach spaces, Hilbert spaces, topological vector spaces ) and the analysis of linear and nonlinear operators between these spaces.
My research interest is the theory of linear and nonlinear evolution equations in Banach spaces, their associated semigroups and their qualitative behaviour ( long-time behaviour, regularity, approximation ).
