Vorgestellt werden zwei 6-jährige Stuten aus dem Bundesgestüt Piber, die im Jahr 2012 ihre Leistungsprüfung im Reiten und Fahren erfolgreich abgeschlossen haben.
Die Kronjuwelen eines jeden Gestütes sind natürlich die Zuchtstuten.
Aus der Gruppe von derzeit rund 70 Stuten und insgesamt 44 Fohlen, die heuer in Piber geboren wurden, wurden sechs Mutterstuten mit ihren erst wenige Monate alten Fohlen mit nach Wien gebracht.

Al Kharim Al Azim´s zwei Jahre ältere Vollschwester, die Rappstute Al Alysha Al Azim, eine gute Zuchtstute, hat bereits 2000 Wettkampfkilometer, immer gut platziert, auf Distanzritten zurückgelegt und hat nicht nur ihre Zuchtstutenprüfung erfolgreich absolviert, sondern auch ihre Distanz-Sportleistungsprüfung und ihre Stutenleistungsprüfung.

Data from the studbooks of the German Thoroughbred Breeding Association from 1996 to 2009 analysed. This analysis included the records of 319 stallions and 6622 brood mares, resulting in 21 372 pregnancies at the end of the season.
Results: Pregnancy rates were significantly affected by the age of the stallion and mare as well as the season ( month in the breeding season in which covering occurred ).
