Von Multikompartiment-Modellen errechnete Bewertungsindikatoren, wie zum Beispiel overall persistence, characteristic travel distance und environmental bioaccumulation potential, haben gezeigt, dass die Berücksichtigung desVerteilungsverhaltens zu einer anderen Bewertung führen kann.
Daher haben wir zur integrierten Bewertung einer Substanz bezüglich ihrer Persistenz sowie ihres Ferntransport- und Bioakkumulationspotentials das Modell ETAPOS (Environmental Transport and Accumulation of Persistent Organic Substances) entwickelt.
