Der Schlauchmagen ( gastric sleeve ) ist ein relativ junges Verfahren.
Die Schlauchmagenbildung wurde von Gagner als erster Schritt einer Zwei-Schritt-Therapie eingeführt, wird heute jedoch auch als alleiniger Schritt geplant.
