An der Verbreitung von Musik über das Internet will ich gar nicht herumkritteln – im Gegenteil, ich bin dafür sehr dankbar, denn sie hat absolut entscheidend dazu beigetragen, dass ich heute der Künstler bin, der ich bin.
Vielmehr möchte ich damit auf die immer flüchtigere und abstraktere konzeptuelle Verbindung zwischen Musikern und ihren eigenen Werken anspielen.

This is not a criticism of music distribution across the internet, for which I’m hugely thankful, and which has been absolutely essential in my own formation as artistic entity.
Rather it’s just an observation of the increasingly tenuous conceptual connect between living musicians and their work.
