Im Sulcus labiogingivalis, auf der Aussenseite der Lamina labiodentalis, entsteht die Anlage der ektodermalen Glandula parotis ( seröse Drüse ).
Im oralwärtsgelegenen Sulcus linguogingivalis entstehen die Glandulae sublinguales ( muköse Drüse ) und submandibulares ( sero-muköse Drüse ), welche endodermaler Herkunft sind.
