Leibniz, whose numerous journeys took him through half of Europe, actively promoted the establishment of scientific academies.After his death, he left a tremendous number of writings on physics, philosophy, Christian religion, political science and ethnology, as well as extensive correspondence with over 1,000 scientists and statesmen.
Bei CELLS beschäftigt er sich primär mit bioethischen und soziologischen Fragen im Kontext biomedizinischer Forschung.
Simon hat Soziologie und Erziehungswissenschaften ( Diplom 2008 ) sowie Philosophie ( M.A. 2010 ) , an der Leibniz Universität Hannover studiert .
Im Wintersemester 2013 folgte er einer Einladung an das Centre for Philosophy of Natural and Social Science, LSE (London).

Simon studied sociology and education (Diploma in 2008), and he also holds a combined undergraduate / graduate degree in philosophy (Magister Artium in 2010) from Leibniz Universitaet Hannover (LUH).
During Michaelmas Term 2013, Simon has been a visitor at the Centre for Philosophy of Natural and Social Science, LSE (London).

Dr. Karl-Friedrich Kiesow is a scientific assistant at the Institute of Philosophy at the Leibniz Universität of Hannover since 1975.
He obtained his PhD with a thesis on Philosophy of Nature and Epistemology of the Objective Epiricism.
