In einer Kooperation mit PD Dr. Volker Deckert ( ISAS, Dortmund ) wird die Untersuchung von biologischen Proben mit Hilfe von spitzenverstärkter Raman-Spektroskopie ( tip enhanced Raman spectroscopy - TERS ) vorangetrieben.
Dabei kombiniert man Rasterkraftmikroskopie (atomic force microscopy - AFM) mit der SERS-Technik und kann so Raman-Spektren mit einer Ortsauflösung kleiner als 50nm detektieren.
