Bei seiner Diplomarbeit mit dem Thema „ Simulation and adaption of a simultaneously cooled membrane-absorber to a 10 kW NH3 / H20 Absorption chiller “, handelte es sich um die numerische Untersuchung von hohlfaser Membrankontaktor-Modulen mit integriertem Wärmeübertrager.
Anschließend war Mark Piper bis Ende Januar 2011 als Promotionsstudent an der TU-Berlin eingeschrieben.
Seit April 2011 arbeitet er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Fluidverfahrenstechnik der Universität Paderborn.
