Since 1992 the journal is published by the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis ( Institut für Technikfolgenabschätzung und Systemanalyse, ITAS ) being a research institute of KIT, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
The editors are supported by a loose network of organisations working in the field of TA and related areas at home and abroad, who are helping with the production of the journal.
