Many of the priceless pieces that could not be displayed due to a lack of space, can now be presented in this glass building flooded with light.
The only things that are still missing are the Parthenon frieze, a caryatid of the Erechtheion, numerous metopes and many other artifacts that the British ambassador Lord Eligin took back to London in the 1800s.
They are still on display in the British Museum in London.
