Neben Geschichte, Theorie und Epistemologie des Falls legt die Sektion den Schwerpunkt auf das Verhältnis von Narration, Medien und Episteme.
Dabei sollen Aufzeichnungsformen, Schreibszenen, Kompilations- und Sammelpraktiken untersucht werden, die es erlauben, den Fall und die Fallgeschichte in der materialen bzw. literalen Kultur der Aufklärung zu situieren.

In addition to the history, theory and epistemology of the case, the panel will focus on the relationship between the narrative, the media and episteme.
It will examine forms of recordings, writing scenes, and the practices of compilation and collection, allowing to situate the case and case histories in the material and literary culture of the Age of Enlightenment.
