Für die Erforschung von neuen Flugzeugkonfigurationen und die Weiterentwicklung des Pilotentrainings hat das Deutsche Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt ( DLR ) gemeinsam mit der dortigen TU in Braunschweig ein neues Simulatorzentrum mit einem statischen und einem beweglichen Flugsimulator eröffnet – mit LED-Projektoren von eyevis.
Mit hochwertigen Nachbauten von Cockpits der Flugversuchsplattform Airbus A320 ATRA und des In-Flight Simulators Eurocopter EC 135 FHS können die beiden Simulatoren flexibel für die Forschungsarbeiten genutzt werden.
