Die GIZ arbeitet seit 1975 im Auftrag des Bundesministeriums für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) in Nepal, seit 1979 mit einem eigenen Büro in der Hauptstadt Kathmandu.
Zurzeit sind rund 250 nationale, sowie 25 entsandte Mitarbeiter, 9 CIM-Fachkräfte, 24 Entwicklungshelfer, davon 6 aus dem Zivilen Friedensdienst (ZFD), für die GIZ in Nepal tätig.

GIZ has been active in Nepal since 1975 on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and opened its own office in the capital, Kathmandu, in 1979.
At present 25 seconded staff and about 250 national staff, 9 CIM experts and 24 development workers, 6 of them working under the auspices of the Civil Peace Service (CPS), are working for us in Nepal.
www.giz.deEr beteiligte sich als Übersetzer am Übersetzungsprogramm des Dīghanikāya aus dem Pali in modernes Chinesisch ( 2012 veröffentlicht ) und erwarb seinen M.A. mit einer Arbeit über Dvattiṃsākāraṃ aus dem Pāli-Kanon.
Von 2007 bis 2008 war er als Austauschstudent an der Nepal Sanskrit Universität in Kathmandu.
Seit 2012 promoviert er an der Universität Hamburg.
www.buddhismuskunde.uni-hamburg.deLiteratures and minor subject of Japanese Language at Peking University, where he worked as one of the translators in the translation programme of Dīghanikāya from Pali into modern Chinese ( published in 2012 ) and gained a Master ’s degree with his work on Dvattiṃsākāraṃ of the Pāli Canon.
He was an exchange-student from 2007 to 2008 at the Nepal Sanskrit University in Kathmandu.
Since 2012 he pursues his doctor’s degree at the University of Hamburg.
