Für die Sammlung POEMATA wurde 1999 eine Textbehandlung konzipiert, die drei Komponenten hat :
Einen nur einfach erfassten Rohtext; eine maschinell unterstützte, orthographisch standardisierende Textkorrektur mit dem uns vom Perseus-Projekt zur Verfügung gestellten Programm Morpheus, ergänzt durch ein von CAMENA entwickeltes Script zum ' Einfangen ' graphischer Varianten; ein Markup, das den Text mit 50 aus TEILite ausgewählten Kodierungen strukturell, editorisch und semantisch kennzeichnet.
