Zu Beginn der 1980er Jahre wurde der 300SL in den USA, im Restaurationsbetrieb „ Harrah ` s Auto Collection restauriert.
Im Jahr 1986 erhält er einen originalen Mercedes-Benz Tauschmotor.
Das Fahrzeug wurde bei Mechatronik Classic einer detaillierten technischen Durchsicht unterzogen, welche ebenso wie die bekannte Historie, selbstverständlich auf Anfrage bei uns eingesehen werden kann.
