Neben der Entwicklung der virtuellen DDR-Welt als Fahrsimulation wurden dazu auch das Original-Lenkrad sowie das Gas- und Bremspedal angepasst – der Besucher kann auf diese Weise selbst navigieren, beschleunigen und bremsen.
Durch das echte Fahrgefühl, originale Tonaufnahmen des Zweitakters und die realistische 3D-Simulation der Marzahner Plattenbausituation bekommt der Besucher einen unmittelbaren Eindruck vom Alltagsleben in der DDR.
