Jasper Sharp , Ausstellungsorganisator an der Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venedig , spricht am 10. März um 19 Uhr in seinem Vortrag The Patron and The Painter – Peggy Guggenheim und Jackson Pollock über die besondere Beziehung zwischen der Sammlerin und dem Künstler .
Beleuchtet werden die Hintergründe des großen Erfolges von Pollocks erster Einzelausstellung in Peggy Guggenheims Galerie Art of This Century sowie der gegenseitige Einfluss, den sie auf ihre jeweiligen Karrieren nahmen.

His talk will cast light upon the factors underlying the enormous success of Pollock ’ s first solo exhibition in Peggy Guggenheim ’ s gallery Art of this Century, as well as upon the reciprocal influence of the two on each other ’ s careers.
