Sollten meine Füße den Halt verlieren, würde ich mindestens 200 m den Berg runterrutschen - kein sehr beruhigender Gedanke!
Ich rief nach David, er kehrte um, und mit Hilfe seines Pickels ging es dann problemlos über diese Stelle.

If I slipped I would slide down at least 200 m, not a very comforting thought!
