Als der Gerichtsvollzieher François ( Hippolyte Girardot ) an diesem Morgen zur Arbeit geht, hält er seine zeternde Ehefrau für das Schlimmste, was an diesem 11. September passieren kann.
Er soll die Wohnung von Mohand (Fellag) zwangsräumen.
Als François die Wohhnung betritt, wird er irrtümlich von Mohands Sohn Salem (Aymen Saïdi) als Geisel genommen.
