Dank der stetig wachsenden Nachfrage und dem Erfolg der drei Produktegruppen Chocolate, Food und Petcare wurde im Jahre 1967 die Schweizer Vertriebsgesellschaft Mars Schweiz AG (damals unter dem Namen Effems AG) mit Sitz in Zug gegründet.
Heute erwirtschaften rund 100 Mitarbeitende einen Umsatz von rund 268 Millionen Franken, 43% davon mit Petcare, 44% mit Chocolate und weitere 13% mit Food-Produkten.
