I walked up and down the sand, gentle waves under my feet and with this bright and glistering morning light it was as if the horizon and water were melting together.
I took a seat and looked over Haulashore Island and across Nelson Harbour through ‘ The Cut ’ to Tasman Bay.

Ich spazierte den Strand auf und ab, den weichen Sand und sanften Wellen unter meinen Füßen und als ich so in das helle, gleißende Morgenlicht blinzelte, erschien es mir als würden Horizont und Wasser miteinander verschmelzen.
Mein Blick ging hinaus über die Haulashore Insel, Nelson Harbour und durch ‘ The Cut ’ hinüber zur Tasman Bay.
