The 35-time German Champion, Sabrina Mockenhaupt, is planning on competing in the New York City Marathon with the goal of enjoying the race, pressure-free.
While Sabrina was injured with a stress fracture for most of this past winter, she fortunately was able to string together a few some training sessions to add 3-wins to her trophy case: a 5,000m and 10,000m race on the track and a 10k race on the road.
She also competed in the 10,000m at the European championships, where she placed 5th and the Olympics, where she placed 17th.
