Infolge von Erbauseinandersetzungen und durch Kauf ging in den Jahren 1840 bis 1842 das Eisenhüttenwerk Raubacher Hütte aus dem Besitz der mit Remy verwandten Familie Freudenberg in Remyschen Besitz über.
