Die Therapie erfolgt hauptsächlich nach Methoden der Funktionellen Dysphagie Therapie (FDT) und der Facio-Oralen Trakt Therapie (FOTT nach Kay Coombes).
Die Behandlung von Sprechstörungen bei M. Parkinson erfolgt u.a. nach LSVT.
