Ende Juni führt der zweite Fahrtabschnitt der Expedition für zwei Wochen mit biologischem Schwerpunkt in den so genannten AWI-Hausgarten.
Im August fährt der Forschungseisbrecher dann in die Zentralarktis, bevor er Anfang Oktober in Bremerhaven zurückerwartet wird.
