Mit der Gründung des Vereins Wipplamb Südtirol, dessen Namen sich aus der geographischen Region Wipptal und dem Südtiroler Dialektwort Lamb für Lamm zusammensetzt, wurde im Januar 2011 ein innovatives Konzept zur Regionalvermarktung von Frischfleischprodukten aus Lamm- und Schaffleisch gestartet.
