If you want to present someone the city of Linz with a single picture, which would you choose?
Mag.a Dr.in Cornelia Daurer from the Archive of the City of Linz knows many views of the town, as they have emerged in the last few centuries.
www.aec.atDen Bewohnern des ersten Bauabschnitts verlangte dieser Umstand viel Vorstellungskraft und Pioniergeist ab.
Obwohl viele Hoffnungen und Wünsche mit dem entstehenden neuen Stadtteil verbunden waren , konnte sich anfangs kaum jemand vorstellen , wie das zukünftige Viertel wohl sein würde .
Nach schwierigen Anfangsjahren, in denen sich Planungsmängel wie fehlende Schulen offenbarten, ist das Gesamtkonzept der Stadt heute nicht zuletzt durch das Engagement der Bürger aufgegangen.
